Born on March 21, 1979, in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, MorS, also known as Rodrigo Santisteban Bethancourt, is a profound singer, composer, and songwriter in the realm of progressive rock. His journey into the world of music started at a tender age of five, deeply rooted in a family legacy of marimba musicians, including his grandfather, Rodolfo Bethancourt, and his great uncle, Domingo Bethancourt , both of whom were distinguished marimba composers and players.

A significant milestone in MorS' musical odyssey was when he was gifted his first guitar by his father at the age of seven. This marked the beginning of his exploration into diverse musical facets – delving into piano, guitar, and vocals. His passion for music led him to the National Conservatory of Music, where he underwent intensive performance training, further cementing his path in the music industry.
